After an insanely busy week I needed to recharge and refresh my eyes. We snuck out to Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, MA to scramble around on the rocks. I was struck by the various textures and how many geometric shapes and patterns we saw: rough rocks, slippery moss, smooth birch, delicate foliage, and much more. I love capturing small details and am sharing a few below. I officially feel inspired again… thankfully with even one more day to regroup before another busy work week begins!

I love how the vertical forest sets a rhythm behind these sunlit leaves.



This birch has a sheen to it that reminds me of precious metal.
